The easy fix would seem to be give away the bumper with every phone. I guess the problem is that they would be acknowledging a problem with the phone and it doesnt look good.

I will still be buying the phone, this isnt going to push me to Android. It does seem fishy that the one time they come out with their own branded case and that case just happens to fix the problem. I wonder if they saw this issue in testing but that it was hit and miss so they decided to come out with a case for those few users who might need it.
