Haha fair enough. The way I see it, the girl wanted to achieve, she achieved it, so good for her. That was her Mt Everest and she reached the top. For some people, its making the honor roll, for some people its getting a high school degree. In the end, it doesn't even really matter what others did in comparison to you, there are a lot of really smart and accomplished people out there that get no satisfaction; and there are a lot of hardworking people who aren't very accomplished that are very happy to achieved something they worked for.
Grades, status, et al... they act as a great motivator, but a horrible motivator.
