We had stayed with some friends in Gig Harbour many moons ago. On our way out to catch a ferry to Seattle, we passed by some navy carriers in port. It was really cool, as I hadn't seen one so close before. (can't remember now if it was a carrier, but pretty sure. there was definitely a bunch of ships there.)

NOt sure if that's your bag, but I think there are some cool military things around there to look at.
