Not bad for a whitey
From reading the article, it sounds like she is fairly well rounded (i.e. volunteer and work experience). However, there's more to learning than having your nose in a textbook from 4:00 to 10:00 every night. I also fail to see how this has resulted in getting "paid off big time" -- does she get a special scholarship? Or just a bunch of HS grades that will be meaningless by the time she graduates from University?
If I studied that much in high school I'd like to think I'd get 100% in every subject as well... I guess a lot of us could say that though.
