Interesting how polarizing a simple thing can be.
I probably wouldn't have reacted the same, I probably would have lobbed some incredibly witty insults at her instead, but that is mostly because I have a very laid back demeanor.
I don't feel sorry for her though. She did escalate it, she knew she was provoking a reaction and I am kind of happy she got a good one. I don't like to see violence against those who cannot defend themselves, but those people typically also aren't antagonizing others.
As for all the super manly men here who would never lay a finger on a woman no matter what she did...really? I wouldn't feel bad for standing up for myself if I had to. I have a high threshold for things and it would take a lot for a lady to enrage me, but if push comes to shove, my shove is harder if it needs to be.
I am very anti violence. I am very protective of all the females in my life. However, there is a responsibility on the lady's part that was not fulfilled in that clip that probably doesn't even show the whole encounter anyway. You do not go looking for trouble like she was. If you up the severity of something, you had better know what you are doing. Hiding behind being a woman/man/famous person/rich person and expecting a different set of rules to be followed is despicable.
Bottom line, both acts are laughable. Neither of them look good in that video. I don't feel sorry for that girl unless she suffered more than the likely bruise. And even then, my sympathy would be minimal.
