James screwed the Cav's on a ton of levels, including delaying his decision until after all of the higher end free agents were signed and gone. He set back that franchise by years.
If James had been a standup guy he wouldn't have lead the Cav's along until there were no other options. There was no question that James was going to follow his buddies wherever they were going, and since Bosh had stated that Cleveland wasn't big enough for him it was clear to everyone that James would follow him.
But instead he lead the Cav's on and gave them the feeling that there was a chance to resign him.
I don't blame the owner for lashing out, and I think it was awesome in this day and age of the spoiled athlete, especially the ones in the NBA.
