The whole TV thing was ridiculus and in bad taste but I think we should respect the decision he made.

He didn't care about his basketball legacy. Now he will always be a Pippen to Wade's Jordan. If he wanted legacy he would have went to the knicks and built a contender alone and become a basketball jesus.

He didn't care about money, tax considerations aside he still leaves 30 million guarenteed on the table should he get injured and likely some more if the cap rules change next year.

He didn't care about championships. His best oppurtunity for a championship was in chicago with Boozer or Bosh with Noah and Rose and other pieces already in place.

All he cared about was playing basketball with his friends. He moves to miami to play basketball with his buddies trying to recreate his high school days.

Shouldn't we admire an athlete who didn't put money or winning first. It really is something different. His priorities just aren't the same as Kobe or Jordon. He is a great talent who doesn't care about winning.

Miami won't win a championship. They have no one to guard howard or Gasol and no cap room to add guys and will be burnt out by the playoffs because they will all have to put in huge regular season minutes against teams at the top of their game gunning for them.
