With unadvertised deals like this I usually go under the assumption that they could be gone any minute. There really is just no way to tell, unless there's a Qantas promotion somewhere with a specified date that I haven't seen.
At first I thought it must be the LAX to Fiji route that is on sale (seen it before on Qantas) but it looks like prices are even more from LAX than from Vancouver.
People are reporting flight and hotel packages to Fiji from Calgary for under $1000/person on Expedia.ca which is unheard of. It's usually $1500/person or more for flights alone.
The Bedarra Beach Inn for $1044/person after tax looks like perhaps the best deal. That's for flight and hotel. It gets great reviews...

That's for Dec 2-9, I haven't checked the other dates.
From Vancouver, flight and hotel can be had for almost the same price as the flight alone ($750ish/person)
