I agree. My dad is a bricklayer and there is not a finer man on the face of the planet. I'd say it's a generational thing. Before the last boom, people went into trades because it was a family business or vocational calling. Tradesmen were more legitimately viewed as craftsmen. Now I think most young guys are just in it for a quick buck.
