Christopher Nolan is the most exciting director out there, in my opinion. Thoughtful, intelligent movies that are still wildly entertaining... can't ask for more really.

I'm interested to see what he does with all the special effects in this. While his other movies have used special effects, he's always sought realism so he's tried to minimize his reliance on them. I know in 'The Prestige' the majority of the magic tricks were done exactly as they would have done them at that time rather than, say, through CGI.
