Most Christians feel they are moved to action by their faith and God. It doesn't necessarily mean they meet him at Starbucks for a latte and discuss matters. Try too look past the literal, I know it's tough for someone with blinders on but you can probably manage it.

Well said. This was gonna' be my point, that Bush didn't literally mean that God talked to him. It's not like that time when Sean Gilbert told the Carolina Panthers that God had told him he couldn't play for less than $10 Million a season.
