You're talking to a guy who has done this stuff for a living.
iPhones can be setup remotely with nothing more than a user name and password, via Exchange ActiveSync.
It's exactly the same thing. I know it all seems easy when your TAC Mobility guy rolls up and tells you to enter in 3 digits, but it's all the same thing.
Edit: I forgot to add that there are a ton of steps your TAC guy does for you guys, that a BES/Exchange admin would normally have to do on his own in other companies. Nasty things like provisioning and service books, etc. Just because the final thing is a 3 character code when you deal with TAC, doesn't mean that's all there is to it.
Edit: Just to be clear, I'm not getting into the whole BB vs iPhone debate. I think they're both excellent phones. All I'm doing is correcting some erroneous info.
