With all due respect, the up to 11 other players in the game couldn't give two sheets about your "distractions." Don't waste our time.
Control the room that you're playing NHL10 in. Keep your phone by your side. Make sure you potty before you play. If you're not ready to commit to a 25 minute game, please stick with offline play. There are plenty of fantastic offline modes to explore!

Personally, I'd rather someone pause the game for 30 seconds, then be playing in one of these "no pause" rooms and have to leave their guy do nothing for 30 seconds. This will obviously happen to the goalie, and then someone will score, and both teams will quit. KEEP THE REPLAYS/PAUSES.

Despite the pauses, there still are plenty of abandoned players as is. I don't think eliminating pauses would make it worse.
Like I said before, at least have a room with no pauses. I would bet it would be very heavily used. Games would be 20 minutes tops.
