That's my only point, I agree that the consequences and issues that arise from gangs are NOT different.
Seeing a Vietnamese gang member being hacked by a machete in West Edmonton Mall Boxing day about 10 years ago was one of the most eff'd up things i'll ever see in my life.

Thanks for clarifying your point - but I maintain the cycles of violence and poverty exist here. Not to the degree that it does in the US but a lot of people still get trapped into the criminal lifestyle because of their circumstances.
