after many telephone calls and dealing with a large number of used car salesman, Jim Peplinski was reached and has declined the invitation to come out of retirement.
Jim had asked if his good friend Lanny might join him. "And Lanny too!!", Axmann exclaimed.
"I just dont have the room on the benches for the walkers, Pep!..Sorry man!" Axmann was quoted as saying.
Later during the day, Axmann was contacted by Rangers GM Flambers and Hurricanes GM Doug and a few minor deals were completed.
