The solution (like a few of the problems the sport faces) is so simple. A quick video review after the game where the officials hand out suspensions for flagrant dives. They release the video and the suspension at the same time and voila, diving ceases to be an issue at almost the exact same time.

I don't like diving and I'm not defending it but I do accept it and accept how other countries view diving. They don't think it's a big deal at all. There hasn't been an outrage from the World's press about the 'dive' yesterday.
So you'll have video replay for flagrant dives. And this is determined how? What is a flagrant dive? It is subject to interpretation.
So Capdevilla got clipped in the nose we think, and we're not sure how hard and what angle so we just dont know... so what it your verdict? You better be 100% sure if you're going to starting kicking players out or as some others have suggested, kick the entire team out of the tournament.
