I don't know that it's fair to put all the blame on the refs, it's a fast game on a massive field and they're supposed to pick up often small touches from 30 yards away. Not an easy task. It's especially tough when every call or missed call can be disected from multiple angles in super slo-mo. I'm not saying they don't deserve part of the blame, but there are certainly calls that it's tough to point at the ref for considering all the circumstances. The players have to take some responsibility, if prominent players took a stand against diving it would be a big step. The issue is that many of the most prominent players are also the most prominent divers. If only they could get the Keano treatment as punishment.
