For moving, and I know its expensive, and I know there are some stories out there, but as someone who has moved a lot and at good distances (e.g. Cgy to Van, Van to Halifax, Halifax to Ott, etc etc)....I would suck it up and pay for movers. We have done u-haul, we have done ourselves, we have done friends, and on our last move we did actual movers. Well worth it in my opinion.

And if you are now the feds, did you by chance get a moving amount of $$ or?
