I'd agree with that. I didn't get why they allowed themselves to be as exposed as that. They were only down by one.

It was a poor England team, very poor.
Rooney had a 'mare, totally and completely. His touch deserted him in spades. Overrated? Yes, at this level.
Gerrard again was not used effectively and was a shadow of what he can bring to his club side.
Lampard, why is he even in the team. Sure he scored but he brings so little to the table at the international level.
Defensively. Slooooow and then some.

Germany. Young, vibrant, explosive. Very impressive.
