Not saying the soccer can't be exciting to watch... it can be... for brief intermittent moments... but unfortunately those are far and few between.... in an outdoor soccer match.

Lets face it... the field of play is way too big and most of the game happens away from the goal net.... which makes it kind of boring. If you've got to be a soccer expert to really enjoy watching the game, it loses right there. An exciting sport to watch is any sport that anybody (expert or not) can really get into because the action is "on the edge of your seat" type action and the final result of the game can change at anytime/any moment. Soccer is not that.
Or if Canada is in it.
