So what? Hodgson is a journeyman manager. Look at Steve Mclaren. Identical resumes. He's gonna be a yesman. It's a classic what have you done for me lately. ing Fat Sam Allardyce at one time was in Hodgson's position.
Who is he gonna revive? Torres won't be enamoured by a no frills Englishman who plays boring football.
Johnson and Insua won't be developed any further if they can't get forward. That takes away there game.
Do you want to tell me that Roberto Martinez's Wigan, Fat Sam's Blackburn, Coyle's Bolton side, or Mick McCarthy's Wolves were worse than Fulham? All those guys managed more wins away than Hodgson. Wasn't Benitez criticized for being too cautious away? Roy ing Hodgson will be a treat if they want to see cautious football.
