Also, you might want to check out the Nike+ system. All the current iPhones and iPod touches have it built-in. All you need is a $20 transmitter for your shoe (although it doesn't work for all workouts, since it only tracks steps and distance).

Edit: That Nike thing is really only for running. I've tested it on some of the stuff at the gym, and it's pretty useless on bikes or ellipticals, etc.

It's a simple app that tracks weight lifted, reps and exercise.
So far I've deduced I need to jailbreak my ipod, which makes no sense to me. Why do I have to go through all this rigamaroll to run something on my ipod I just
bought on itunes?
