I am really glad I ddint buy one off ebay like I was going to do. This was the version of this phone I was going to get and now I am not so sure as I need this to work as a phone as well The North Hill Rogers store said I am good to go for the upgrade when the phone is available so that side of the equation is done.
I always buy the last version of the last generation Usually that's when the most features have been implemented and most bugs have been worked out and you get the best of both worlds. Then when the newest thing is announced, demand drops for the old one and prices drop like a rock. The 3GS is great so far for me.

This is my philosophy for almost all hardware.
