No it's 120 Hz half-res (checkerboard) 3D. PC sends a 60 Hz signal that contains left and right eye, put TV in 3D mode and instead of showing all pixel 60 times a second is shows half (one eye) then half (other eye) 60 times a second.
I kind of want to pick up GTA, but the "Rockstar Weekend" sale was definately better.

GTA is great for PC because of mods. Unfortunately, the best mod, one that adds custom shaders and effects and most importantly, anti-aliasing to the PC version (via supersampling) requires an insane computer and is incompatible with the latest version of the game and steam automatically sends you the latest version.
I told steam not to auto-patch my copy but it did anyway!
I can still use the first person mod so that's okay. I'd imagine that game would be amazing in 3D.
