They dont make money, they just get it in escrow correct and dont have to repay it until the end of the season - at least that is what I have heard. Its not free money even if there is no season.
If the PA can lock up and be strong enough to hold out until then - then they have a shot. But these guys not signing their tenders is crazy, they need to save as much money as possible for next year.
The owners wanting players to help them pay for new stadiums is one of the most ridiculous notions out there.
Also a bunch of billionaire white owners arent going to get any love from anyone if this strike lasts for any amount of time. Its a game of chicken and I think the NFL has a big time gambler at its top position which the NFL needs to be very worried about.
