I'm having the exact same scenario. In a week I leave with my gf to meet her grandparents, who live in the middle of nowhere. From what I understand it is some cabin in middle of woods near a lake about 6 hours northwest of Kelowna.
There is no cell phone service, no Internet.
And all this during free agency period.
