I've decided to take my first lengthy vacation in years. And I'm heading out to Toronto for the next week and a half.

Of course I get that its stupid that I'm flying into Toronto on the same day as the delegates arrive, and the day after an earthquake, in a city thats going to be shaken by protests and riots.

But family business calls.

I'll make sure I get some juicy protest pictures for the board when I return.

Unfortunately my sister doesn't believe in cable T.V. or having the internet in her home (Freak show) so the only way that I'm going to miss the draft and the same home opener.

I'm sure that its going to be tough to break the CalgaryPuck addiction. But the reason why you won't see my charming posts isn't because I'm sick of the lot of you, or that I was killed during a cocaine fueled hooker murder suicide, but because I'm going to be staying on a farm with my sister's family in the 1890's.

So so long suckers, I'm sure to come back insane, bearded and slightly agitated. Or in chains after I bean some anarchist in the head with brick.
