–noun, plural -ries for 6. 1. the sum of the ideal qualifications of a knight, including courtesy, generosity, valor, and dexterity in arms.

2. the rules and customs of medieval knighthood.

3. the medieval system or institution of knighthood.

4. a group of knights.

5. gallant warriors or gentlemen: fair ladies and noble chivalry.

Oh... I wasn't aware that we had so many Knights posting on this board. I am curious, what lands and tittles do you hold?

Ah yes.. the 50 year old woman on the train with the gull to ask someone to up their seat, such a noble woman! May her hair forever shine in a thousand moon lights..

Whaaaat? You mean this system wasn't flawless? My Word. Exploited eh... the same way this woman exploited our poor OP's position on the train and in society?

Stop living in 1423.
Is this really the route you're going with your argument? A dictionary definition of a word which everyone knows the meaning of when applied to modern times? If you don't understand that chivalry applies to our times then you are dumb. Straight up.
