You don't just ask someone for their seat if to the naked eye no one can see anything wrong with you.
Why should she feel obligated to divulge her (possibly personal) ailments to a train full of strangers to qualify for a seat?
"Do you mind if I have your seat? My menopause is making me a bit light headed and I'll have trouble standing in a moving vehicle"



Also... it's pretty easy to lie about it anyway... so what good does it do?
