I don't have kids, but I can appreciate that they are VERY difficult to keep an eye on all of the time. I've got a seven year old little sister and an eight-month old little brother (he can't get out of sight yet but it won't be long).

For sure there are going to be some accidents and close calls as a parent, this just happens to be one of those close calls that unfortunately goes in the other direction.

I didn't mean to say that accidents like this should never happen, because that's just unrealistic, and there's always going to be one. But a c-train platform is quite literally the last place you want to take your eye off a three year old.
