Yah I understand that, but kids are, well, kids. They are very curious and oblivious to the dangers around them. It's sad that these type of accidents can be prevented, and most likely money is the only reason barriers are not being set up on these platforms. I understand it's not only a Calgary problem but actually almost everywhere with c-trains. Is it really that hard to come up with something safer?
Last year that girl pushed a kid into a train, and it would have been totally preventable if there was some sort of barrier.
