I'm hoping that they fix the unit balance that made the game unrealistic.

I did give up on Civ 4 after I advanced myself to the modern age, had advanced tanks and bombers and went to invade the country next to me who were still in the Iron age and lost half of my modern mechanized forces to dudes with swords and arrows.

Meanwhile my battle group at sea which featured a carrier destroyers and cruisers was routed by Iron sides.

If they don't fix that then there's no point in playing 5.
