Yes. I don't mind that someone is gay, I know people who are and it really doesn't bother me. But I don't see why they feel the need to go out on the street and hold a parade. Like another poster said, they only harm their "image", lack of better word, with it.
Of course I've never been mariginalized because I'm straight but that's because that's how I believe God intended it in the first place. In the Bible, it's Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.
Like I said, and I stress this point very much, I have no problem with gay people. Of course, NOBODY should be discrimnated just because their gay. Should they be able to walk down the street holding hands? Of course. So yes, they should be able to have civil rights as the rest of us do. I'm not disputing that. However, and this is my opinion regardless of what the rest of you feel like, when it comes to marriage, to me marriage is a sanctity between a man and a woman.
I should also point out, I'm a different religion than most of you.
