Observations

Netherlands 1
Japan 0
- Honestly, Japan was unfortunate to not come away with a tie. A horrible non-save by their goalie. Japan probably played the best defense that I have ever seen them play and by the 20 minute mark had truly frustrated their opponent. By the 30min mark the Japanese became the more dangerous team though they never really got any dangerous shots off. Only when the Japanese pushed up did the Netherlands start to get dangerous.

Denmark 2
Cameroon 1
- What? Denmark scoring a goal? Never mind 2? WTF? Does that double their historical goal scoring in the WC?

Australia 1
Ghana 1
- Disappointing tournament for Australia. Stick a fork in them.
