I'm definitely getting a kinect especially after reading this:

I think it's great that you'll have the fun casual games (and no matter what anyone says, full body obstacle courses vs the wiimote is not even a competition) and how they are planning on implementing it into the more hardcore games via voice commands, turning your head to look left or right, or making a tossing motion with one hand to throw a grenate...

Maybe this generation won't be mind blowing but the next with potentially 3d could be amazing.
