Masoli was an absolutely terrible quarterback though. He could run like a power back but his passing left tons to be desired. Chip Kelly has a pretty good track record with qb's so I'm not to worried there.
Sure Washington did improve last season but they could have easily ended up 2-10 if Matt Barkley had played for USC, the controversial interception against Arizona been called the other way, and Jahvid Best played for Cal. Until Washington can put a decent defence on the field I don't think they'll be able to beat the Ducks or Beavers.
