I don't own an Apple TV, so I am making the assumtion that these are the outputs you have
I am pretty sure
this claims it will work to connect and get video to your TV, but it is ungodly expensive for what you are doing with it. You would of course need to use whichever audio cables to get the sound across. I did read some threads and some people claim Apple has a cable for this, but I couldn't find it.
As for the monitor, I assume from your description that
