Yeah, except guys like Messi and Rooney don't dive to make a play. I watched Messi get fouled about half a dozen times during Argentina's game, but instead of going down immediately and acting like he'd been shot, he tried to play through the foul to make the play.

Call me bias, call me a homer, call me whatever, I thought Ronaldo did fine today. I can recall only one blatant dive and in this world of soccer, that's pretty damn good. People like to single him out as the psoster boy of diving and that's unfair. He does it just as much as anyone else. That doesn't make it right, but it's the nature of the game.
