Microsoft is really trying to go with Nintendo's approach and use E3 as a method of demoing to major non-gaming media. It's too little, too late though I think. Nintendo has a monopoly on the causal gaming market share.

Yeah, I don't understand this approach. I know they want people to learn about Kinect, but E3 is for the hardcore gamer. Do they really think mom's and casual gamers are watching these press conferences, or even pay attention to them?
These pressers should be for the hardcore fans more so than the Kinect. Those are the ones actually paying attention.
