congrats on the 'w' !!!!

this past year i got a bunch of guys together and we put a team into our local men's league. it was really rough for the first few months. we lost every game in september and october - and the scores we're even close - we were losing by double digits!!

finally, at the tail end of november it happened - our first win!! since i'm the goalie i made sure my captain grabbed the game puck and it proudly sits in my office!

my boys sure started playing better after that and we went from being dead last in the league to ending up 3rd by the time the playoffs started!

yes the playoffs - we lost our first game then went on a tear!! made it all the way to the finals where the best team in our division beat us - barely! we had sooooo much fun and we're soooooooo looking forward to next season.
