In my case I had the pink slip from my previous vehicle and the signed registration for the new one, the cop was a complete idiot and goof as it was a saturday when he pulled me over for an illegal lane change, I said to him
"I bought the car last night,my insurance isn't open till monday" He says:
So I'm suppost to believe you bought a $40k car at night?,are you a drug dealer and pay cash as well? At that point I just said give me the f'kn ticket and I'll see you in court!
Just a complete jerkoff, The prosecutor threw the ticket out immediately.(I did have to pay the $110.00 for the BS lane change ticket though)
