does that mean that if you were driving a 1972 dodge dart and bought a 2010 Audi a10 it would just automatically switch over and adjust your rate without your intervention.
yeah, I wondered about that as well; (speculating) if you have just PL/PD, then it doesn't make a difference. If you have comp. and collision, the coverage is just for the value of the old car until you notify the insurance company of your new vehicle.
