We bought a cat from Petland a few years ago for my son. The cat got sick and stopped eating and then later on we had to put him down, worse thing I ever had to do. The only complaint that I had was the fact that the vet they sent us to was horrible and somehow missed the fact the the cat had a tumor in it's intestine, while she said it was fine. After we put the cat down, my vet called Petland and told them the situation, we got a call from Petland saying sorry and they gave us back all the money that we had spent on the cat right from day 1. They also ended up sending us a condolence card and a written appology, so for that I give them top marks. From all of this I still won't buy another cat from the pet store just from what we went through with the first one. I think the cat cost us $250, that was with all the initial vet bills that you get with it.
