I don't see how you can say NHL 2005 has the most unrealistic looking gameplay. Did you even watch the gameplay that you said you did? OF course he can pass through his legs... watch real hockey, it happens.
EXACTLY-----Anyone remember the between the legs gem from Mario in the 2002 Olympics?

Edit: Also, in REAL hockey, players aren't hunched over for the entire game, they coast, the stand upright often....In NHL 2005 players will coast and look like actual NHL players. My Calgary Flames in ESPN all look like a team full of Quasimodo Hunch Backs.
