True, but they don't really lack for infielders generally. Hechevarria, Goins, Pastornicky, Pierre, and Jackson are all playing SS in the low minors presumably one or more of them can and will shift over to 3rd.
Quite the glut of pitchers thou... but whatever you can't have enough good arms.
