Also when we were in Calgary looking for our two cats, we were checking the 'kittens for free' ads out and found that Petland employees had been by to scoop all the kittens (for free) to sell in their store....:/

So two things:

1) the cats you see in Petland are no different from the ones you will find elsewhere. They are coming from the same place.

2) How much are the cats at Petland? Too much....

Another important thing is that if you can meet the momma cat before you adopt you will will be able to dial in on the kittens probably personality.

You can't do this at Petland, you can through private adoptions.
