There is a lack of 3rd basement in the Jays organization, however, this draft is very top heavy on pitchers for some reason, with a lot of 1st round talent calibre arms that should extend into the 3rd-5th rounds, so it does make some sense to get some of them instead of getting players that fit a need.

Plus who knows, maybe AA trades a couple of the current guys for a solid 3rd baseman or we sign one in the offseason.
