I'm not saying you are overly serious about this and I don't want to be Buzz Killington but the French get a bad rap here in Canada. The seperatist movement is ridiculous and becoming more fringe with each passing year. And the French deserve respect because they were the only ones that had the balls to settle Canada - not the Brits or even the Vikings. If not for the French, we'd all be Yanks or Brits, not Canadians.
Lastly, Montreal and Quebec City are unbelievablly cool cities. Top 3 in Canada for sure. Fun, historic, as European as you'll see in the Americas, have hot women, the best strip joints and the best nightlife in Canada. I know in rural Quebec where they are more hardcore it can be a problem but Canada after all is a bilingual country.

Like every Canuck Air Canada ha f'ed me over many times but usually with airlines we are all price sensitive and don't afford to be too picky. I've flown with them recently and they've been much better. The level of service over the past few years has improved and they are AC and WJ are the only North American airlines to my knowledge that have TVs/movies for you to watch on a North American flight. Over the last few years I have taken countless flights with American, Delta, NorthWest, US Airways, United, etc and their service has been much poorer.
