I don't know.. a few bucks off maybe but not nearly triple! If I wanted a $10 ticket and the cashier printed off $27 worth, there's no way I'd pay $17 more!
52,000 tickets does seem like an oddly high number, unless cashiers in Atlantic Canada are really stupid and keep making mistakes!
Now my question is, why do they void the ticket immediately? I know some places that leave unwanted tickets on the counter and instead of buying one through the machine, you could just buy that one! I'm sure someone wanted to buy $27 in tickets (or thereabouts)
