Aw, sounds like any dog would love living with your family. Not sure if it's still the look of a golden you're going for or just a hunting dog in particular...but there's a pup up for rescue on AARCS. Sounds like his dad was a golden retriever, but "Jefferey" looks more like a lab...here's the link to his page:
